1. Services
Borehole Drilling Agents provides borehole drilling, pump installation, maintenance, and related services across Gauteng. All services are subject to site assessment and a formal quotation.
2. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices are based on expected conditions; unforeseen circumstances (difficult geology, deeper drilling requirements) may result in additional costs, which will be discussed before proceeding.
3. Payment Terms
A deposit is required before work commences. The balance is due upon completion unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. All prices include VAT.
4. Water Yield
While we conduct thorough site assessments, we cannot guarantee water yield or quality. Groundwater conditions vary and cannot be fully determined before drilling. Drilling costs apply regardless of water yield.
5. Access & Site Requirements
The client must provide suitable access for our drilling equipment and ensure the drilling location is clear of underground services (pipes, cables). We are not liable for damage to unmarked underground services.
6. Warranty
Pump equipment carries manufacturer warranties as specified. Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, power surges, or acts of nature.
7. Permits & Compliance
The client is responsible for any permits required for borehole drilling on their property. We can advise on requirements but obtaining permits is the client's responsibility.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of services provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from our services.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
