What is Borehole Rehabilitation?

If your borehole yield has dropped over time, or the water quality has deteriorated, rehabilitation can often restore it to full performance without the cost of drilling a new borehole. Scale buildup, sediment accumulation, and bacterial slime are the most common causes of reduced yield — all of which we can treat. We inspect, clean, and test every borehole we rehabilitate.

What is Included

Camera Inspection
We lower a camera into the borehole to assess the condition of the casing, screen, and any blockages before starting work.
Mechanical Cleaning
Brushing and agitation tools are used to loosen scale, sediment, and mineral deposits from the casing and screen.
Chemical Treatment
Where needed, food-safe chemicals are applied to dissolve stubborn mineral buildup — safe for groundwater and the environment.
Airlifting
High-pressure air is used to flush loosened debris out of the borehole and clear the screen.
Post-Rehab Yield Test
After cleaning, we conduct a yield test to confirm the improvement and document the new sustainable extraction rate.
